Get Them To Stop At Your Booth!

Be interesting!

  • Nothing gets tired? show go-ers to walk past a booth faster than, well, nothing.
  • You have to offer them “something”. Even if it’s just some prime swag.
  • Learn from other booths. Take notes about the tables that seem to be attracting.
  • Even if it just offering free coffee and a snack, get people into your space and their mere presence will make others curious about what is going on and get them to head over.
  • Have some nice, mellow music playing if the room isn’t too overloaded with sound already.

Be Clear!

  • Make sure your message is clear.
  • What are you offering, what unique benefit?
  • This clarity should extend to your images. Make sure your banners are simple, bright and clear.

Be Unique!

Use Good Design

  • Use bright designs, a few larger images, legible fonts and a clear message.
  • Make sure your space is designed to funnel people inward to where you ultimately want them to be.

Be interactive

  • People are used to high-tech interaction.
  • Depending on what your product is, have interactive activities for people to do.

Make Sure Your Staff is Engaging

  • Everyone who comes close to your booth should be approached in a professional manner.
  • Know your demographic. Use a person that your demographic will feel comfortable around and attracted to. For example if your demographic is young women, don’t have an older male trying to engage with them.
  • Make sure they know to never look bored or unprofessional.
